Jor\u00addan Phi\u00adlippe is a com\u00adpo\u00adser, saxo\u00adpho\u00adnist, flau\u00adtist and elec\u00adtro\u00adnic musi\u00adcian whom our team is sup\u00adpor\u00adting for the Eve\u00adry Day In June pro\u00adject and a local ini\u00adtia\u00adtive in part\u00adner\u00adship with the Juliette Drouet Cultu\u00adral Centre in Fou\u00adg\u00e8res.<\/span><\/p>\n

EVERY DAY IN JUNE is a pro\u00adject dee\u00adply influen\u00adced by English and Afri\u00adcan-Ame\u00adri\u00adcan music, ope\u00adning up to the uni\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adli\u00adty of music.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tracks that make up this album invite us on a jour\u00adney blen\u00adding ana\u00adlogue and orga\u00adnic sounds to create bold elec\u00adtro\u00adnic music where hope, aspi\u00adra\u00adtion and melan\u00adcho\u00adly inter\u00adt\u00adwine.<\/span><\/p>\n

To unset\u00adtle the senses : this is what the artists seek to achieve through this sce\u00adno\u00adgra\u00adphic ins\u00adtal\u00adla\u00adtion. To unset\u00adtle the viewer\u2019s senses, lea\u00adding them to redis\u00adco\u00adver their centre ; to play with dua\u00adli\u00adty and dou\u00adbling so that eve\u00adryone can feel their uni\u00adque\u00adness whil\u00adst also fee\u00adling part of a whole.<\/span><\/p>\n

VISUAL EFFECTS<\/span><\/p>\n

The film pro\u00adjec\u00adted onto the cyclo\u00adra\u00adma* is per\u00adfect\u00adly syn\u00adchro\u00adni\u00adsed with the music pro\u00addu\u00adced by Jor\u00addan PHILIPPE on stage. With its launches, effects and tex\u00adtures, the music and the film become one, allo\u00adwing the vie\u00adwer to become ful\u00adly immer\u00adsed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film com\u00adbines live-action foo\u00adtage with digi\u00adtal effects. To shoot the live-action foo\u00adtage, Alex BOULIC uses vin\u00adtage lenses, which have the dis\u00adtinc\u00adtive qua\u00adli\u00adty of allo\u00adwing light to bleed and giving the images an orga\u00adnic look. Then, using decons\u00adtruc\u00adtive digi\u00adtal effects, the images are syn\u00adchro\u00adni\u00adsed with the sound effects. The aim is to per\u00adfect\u00adly illus\u00adtrate the fusion that Jor\u00addan creates bet\u00adween the warm sound of the ins\u00adtru\u00adments (saxo\u00adphones, flute, bass cla\u00adri\u00adnet), the intense har\u00admo\u00adnies of the ana\u00adlogue key\u00adboards and the elec\u00adtro\u00adnic mani\u00adpu\u00adla\u00adtions of the machines.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Cyclo\u00adra\u00adma : A semi-trans\u00adpa\u00adrent screen is sus\u00adpen\u00added at the front of the stage ; it serves as a pro\u00adjec\u00adtion sur\u00adface for both the images and the play of light and sha\u00addow crea\u00adted in the back\u00adground to make the musi\u00adcian appear, disap\u00adpear or be super\u00adim\u00adpo\u00adsed within the film.<\/span><\/p>\n
