It was whil\u00adst playing the drums with her musi\u00adcian father that she began to grasp the concept of rhythm at around the age of six. In 1995, she dis\u00adco\u00adve\u00adred West Afri\u00adcan dance during an exchange with the Wam\u00add\u00e9 troupe from Bur\u00adki\u00adna Faso.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2001 onwards, she took part in work\u00adshops on Gui\u00adnean, Malian, tra\u00addi\u00adtio\u00adnal Man\u00addin\u00adka and contem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry Afri\u00adcan dance with dan\u00adcers and cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphers such as Sey\u00addou Boro, Nor\u00adma Claire, Richard Aneg\u00adbele, Eve\u00adlyne Mam\u00adbo and Mer\u00adlin Nya\u00adkam\u2026 She under\u00adtook two trips las\u00adting seve\u00adral months to Sene\u00adgal and The Gam\u00adbia in 2005 and 2007, where she trai\u00adned in dance and dum-dum drum\u00adming with the Waki\u00adli troupe and the cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adpher Apaye Son\u00adgo. At the same time, she took part in crea\u00adtive pro\u00adjects com\u00adbi\u00adning dance, song and per\u00adcus\u00adsion, such as the Was\u00adsa troupe with Ivo\u00adrian artists.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2010 onwards, she began to deve\u00adlop her pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal career, alter\u00adna\u00adting bet\u00adween dance-per\u00adcus\u00adsion pro\u00adjects and tea\u00adching, whil\u00adst see\u00adking to deve\u00adlop her own cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphic lan\u00adguage, hea\u00advi\u00adly influen\u00adced by the rhyth\u00admic approach and the release of ener\u00adgy found in Afri\u00adcan dance.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2011, she com\u00adple\u00adted the CEFEDEM Bre\u00adtagne \/ Pays de la Loire trai\u00adning course (ear\u00adly child\u00adhood deve\u00adlop\u00adment and joint intro\u00adduc\u00adtion to dance and music) and the pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal trai\u00adning course (Afro-contem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry dance) with Anti\u00adpodes Paris and the cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adpher Nor\u00adma Claire. She joi\u00adned the cast of the show \u201cAfro-breizh\u201d \u2013 Cie Dou\u00adnia by Fati\u00adma Legz\u00adhal \u2013 and the Fran\u00adco-Ivo\u00adrian troupe \u201cAy\u00e9\u00adna\u201d, led by the Ivo\u00adrian per\u00adcus\u00adsio\u00adnist Baba Tou\u00adr\u00e9 (tra\u00addi\u00adtio\u00adnal reper\u00adtoire of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire).<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, she began her career as a bas\u00adsist with the groups \u201cShan\u00addoo\u201d (folk) and \u201cLa robe verte\u201d (Afro-folk). In 2014, she joi\u00adned the group \u201cT\u00e9ri\u00adkan\u201d (Man\u00addingue Afro-funk fusion) with the Gui\u00adnean sin\u00adgers Ami\u00adna\u00adta Mengue and Cama\u00adra.<\/span><\/p>\n

She joi\u00adned the Engre\u00adnages com\u00adpa\u00adny in 2016 and co-cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphed the show \u201cFluide com\u00adplexe\u201d with hip-hop dan\u00adcer Franck Gui\u00adzonne, alias Fran\u00adco, which pre\u00admie\u00adred in 2017. In 2018, they crea\u00adted \u201cGroove time\u201d, an inter\u00adac\u00adtive show (Afro\u00adbeat-funk). In 2019, work began on the cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphic piece \u201cCom\u00admu\u00adnau\u00adt\u00e9\u201d, which pre\u00admie\u00adred in 2021 as a show for five dan\u00adcers with a back\u00adground in hip-hop. In 2020, the \u201cGroove Time\u201d pro\u00adject evol\u00adved into an orches\u00adtral ver\u00adsion, \u201cKinyon\u00adga\u201d, brin\u00adging toge\u00adther nine artists for a dance concert fea\u00adtu\u00adring a reper\u00adtoire of Afro-groove musi\u00adcal com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtions. 2020 also mar\u00adked a new col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtion with Cie Dou\u00adnia on the \u201cXY\u201d pro\u00adject. In 2021, she joi\u00adned sin\u00adger-song\u00adwri\u00adter Stel\u00adlis Groseil\u2019s \u201cNio\u00admoye\u201d (jazz-world) pro\u00adject as a bas\u00adsist. In 2022, Elo\u00addie began wri\u00adting a video-dance pro\u00adject connec\u00adting a city\u2019s archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adral heri\u00adtage to its intan\u00adgible heri\u00adtage and to a contem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphic and musi\u00adcal aes\u00adthe\u00adtic. In 2024, she joi\u00adned the CND\u2019s cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adpher trai\u00adning pro\u00adgramme \u201cSpe\u00adcial Edi\u00adtion #8\u201d under Mathilde Mon\u00adnier and St\u00e9\u00adphane Bou\u00adquet. She also cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphed a per\u00adfor\u00admance with the jazz quin\u00adtet Opsid and direc\u00adted a short cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphic film as part of the EAC pro\u00adjects run by the Ille-et-Vilaine depart\u00adment, along\u00adside saxo\u00adpho\u00adnist Zden\u011bk Tom\u00e1\u00adnek and double bas\u00adsist Julien Pinel. This col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtion spar\u00adked a desire to move towards a joint crea\u00adtive pro\u00adject. The trio conti\u00adnues its explo\u00adra\u00adtion of the mani\u00adpu\u00adla\u00adtion of tex\u00adtiles and the dia\u00adlogue bet\u00adween live music and dance within the pro\u00adject La M\u00e9ca\u00adnique du Poulpe. She enjoys taking move\u00adments from dance or eve\u00adry\u00adday life, immer\u00adsing her\u00adself in them, then brea\u00adking free from conven\u00adtions, decons\u00adtruc\u00adting esta\u00adbli\u00adshed paths and ope\u00adning up new ave\u00adnues of expres\u00adsion. Crea\u00adting a lan\u00adguage, a voice, that allows her to convey sto\u00adries and emo\u00adtions.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her work\u00adshops, she starts with a few basic prin\u00adciples that a group can qui\u00adck\u00adly grasp and then sug\u00adgests ways to move beyond them and return to them.
